Critically Yours makes up the cornerstone of our project. This program is designed to equip our youth with the tools they need to navigate the complex digital landscape and combat the spread of hate speech. Our three-part plan:
1/ A comparative study on hate speech in the involved countries
Assessing the hate-speech narratives and realities in the online space within the involved countries, and outlining the prevention measures.
2/ A Training Course on critical thinking
Training youth workers on how to stimulate the critical thinking of their target groups in approaching information online, detecting and reacting to narratives.
3/ The publication of the guidelines for CSOs
Findings from the comparative study and Training Course Will give birth to the development of a manual/guidelines for CSOs.

Critically Yours, was our first training course of our capacity-building project #NoHateEmbassy, taking place between 23 and 30 November 2024 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
We had intense six days where we tackled the pressing issue of hate speech through immersive non-formal education tools and methods. Despite being in a stunning resort with warm beaches and tempting holiday activities, our focus remained steadfast, training participants to become advocates for tolerance and diversity—true no hate ambassadors!
The initiative brought together experienced youth workers from across the Euro-Mediterranean region, achieving the following:
Fostered inclusive narrative to limit hateful stereotypes.
Cultivated resilience against hateful narratives through fact-checking and information verification.
Assessed hate speech and its impact in the online space across the involved countries.
Enhanced the critical thinking of youth to know how to detect and react against hateful propaganda online.
Strengthened digital advocacy skills by mentoring participants to create online campaigns against hate speech.
Here are some results of their hard work:
